Wireline Competition Bureau Announces Extension of the FY2025 Application Filing Window for the Rural Healthcare (RHC) Program Until June 2, 2025

March 13, 2025 – The FCC’s Wireline Competition Bureau has announced an extension of the Rural Health Care (RHC) Program’s application filing window to June 2, 2025. The RHC Program, which includes the Healthcare Connect Fund (HCF) and the Telecommunications Program, provides subsidies to help eligible healthcare providers offset broadband and telecommunications expenses.

This extension comes in response to multiple requests from applicants facing processing delays and ensures that all eligible healthcare providers have additional time to submit their funding requests.

What This Means for You:

  • New Deadline: Applications for the HCF program can now be submitted until June 2, 2025.
  • More Time to Prepare: If you’re already working with us, this extension allows extra time to finalize your documentation and ensure everything is submitted correctly. If you haven’t started your application yet, there’s still time—this is your opportunity to secure funding for broadband costs next year.
